Regulatory Framework & Environmental Examinations for Offshore Wind Farms in Germany.- Presentation at the International Workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for Offshore Wind Farms at IBAMA's headquarters in Brasilia (Brazil), 2nd and 3rd July 2019.
The workshop in Brasilia (Brazil) was carried out by IBAMA with support by the EU-Brazil Sector Dialogues Support Facility at IBAMA's headquarters on July 2nd and 3rd 2019. IBAMA is the federal "Brazilian Agency of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources” and is involved in the environmental licensing of offshore wind farms. The EU-Brazil Sector Dialogues are a cooperation instrument aimed at reinforcing the strategic partnership between the EU and Brazil. The objective of the workshop was to receive contributions from experts of Europe and Brazil for the technical improvement of the federal environmental licensing of offshore wind farms in Brazil.
Johannes Dimas was invited by IBAMA to present the process in Germany and to answer questions as a panellist for the two-day expert interviews.
